Our own three children will play among the rice fields surrounding Breanna’s House of Joy Orphanage. This orphanage was built in honor of a young girl named Breanna Moritz who was killed at the age of 12 in a car accident. The orphanage itself is nestled 20 minutes outside of Chiang Mai, the second largest city in Thailand, and houses 50 young girls who are targets for the child prostitution industry. These girls come from the impoverished hill tribe region in Northern Thailand and are given a good education, Biblical teaching, and a safe place to grow up in the innocence that children should be allowed.
