My friend Amy Sullivan has a killer-inspirational blog. She collects creative ideas and practical resources for families to serve the world, and change the world, right from home. Once she went for water without 48 hours and recorded the experience, and she is constantly updating her website with new organizations and resources for living intentionally with your kids. When it comes to inviting your kids into a Story bigger than themselves through service, Amy’s blog is one of the first places you should go.
She invited me recently to do a quick 60 second video explaining the work of The Exodus Road for a collection of videos she’s gathering about various nonprofits. If you’d like to check it out, including a video from Amy herself and a video of me explaining human trafficking to kids, check out
Amy’s post today.
And on a semi-related note, pray for us this week and next, would you? Matt is in SE Asia right now and will be for the next 10 days. Pray for wisdom, favor, safety, and ultimately, for rescue. This is his first time back since we relocated to the States. If you’d like to read some about what’s been happening with The Exodus Road the last two months, check out this post or consider subscribing to the ministry newsletter.
