A Packing Tip for Moving Overseas . . .
by Laura on March 13, 2010
Fill a bin with clothes (or a small child) you want to pack and take with you.
Put the clothes into the storage bag and suck out the air with a vacum hose (make sure the small child is outside of the bag at this point). You can get the storage bags at stores like Walmart for about $3 a bag.
Yup, that's it. An entire bin of clothes shrinks down to about 6 inches wide. Great for saving space (but not weight) in a suitcase. This would also be a fantastic way to organize your closets with blankets you don't often use. Happy packing (or storing)!

Awesome idea!!
I just wanted to let you know that I read your response on Flower dust to her post on rather having fewer followers. It is sad to see where so much of the church is here in this country. But it is very true that there are a lot of believers who really are looking at their lives and how they live out their faith and going at it differently. I love the direction your life is going in. I gave up doing photography / media etc within the Christian music industry to teach and mentor kids and it was the best decision I ever made. My life has been so much richer and fuller because of it. Go for it!!!!
