Thanks so much for stopping by and a bigger thank you for your prayers for us. I am praying for your family as we speak. For your journey and the wisdom to hear the voice of Jesus calling. No matter what.

Hi guys,

We were moved to read how you were led to go to Thailand - and, in our case, because there was such a similarity between Matt's personal growth and the ways God led us to search out what Scripture means by "love your neighbors." (You can read what we learned and experienced at www.sparkleofnature.com. It sounds as if you both would enjoy that. And if it's OK, I'd like to add a few of the quotes from this blog to the chapter on "Loving Immigrants, Orphans and Widows.)

Since finding your site, we have been including you in our family prayers each evening. If you (and any of your readers) wouldn't mind including us too - and especially that God would soon open the door for us to begin the ministry he's been preparing us for, we would really appreciate that.

Blessings,
Pete, Yvonne, Yvette and Bill Ahlstrom

Hey Laura, I just found you two on Facebook, and am now a follower of your blog as well. (I keep one too!) I just wanted to write to tell you that my husband, Jeremy, and I will be praying for you and your family as you continue to seek God's direction in the details of this move. I'm so excited for you, and wish you all the fulfillment from this venture. I hope we can all keep in touch now that we've reconnected. Your family is gorgeous, by the way.

Thanks for the long and descriptive post Laura. The momentous decision certainly deserves such. Y'all are an inspiration.

Much love, strength, patience, endurance, joy, humility, courage, and sweet care are heading to an orphanage in Thailand. A smile is brought me in thought of such being sent forth.

But I'll miss you more in Thailand than even in CO...

Daniel

I'm inspired that you and Matt are so willing to follow the Lord's leading - all the way to Thailand. I know the transition will be challenging, but He obviously has big plans for you! I'll be so interested to read your updates and you'll all be in our prayers!!

Laura, we teens LOVE you and your family, and will be sad to see you go- but I cannot express the joy and excitement that I'm feeling for you, too!! This is an amazing opportunity, and we'll be behind you all the way. I just wish I could give more. Let me know if there's anything I can do! Childcare while you meet with people and later on, when you pack, or helping you out with anything you need:). Love you Parkers!

Wow, what an amazing cause and a huge choice! You all will without question be in our prayers. I have a very soft spot in my heart for the orphan as it seems so does Matt. Keep us up to date.
